About Capital city: Taipei
Taiwan is famous for what?
Taiwan's most famous thing is "Food." Take my favorite two for example.
Stinky tofu 臭豆腐 (chòudòufu): Stinky tofu is a traditional food in Taiwan. You may find it anywhere, from the street stalks in the night markets to the 5-star restaurants. Stinky tofu is made by two ways: either by soaking in ammonia solutions or by fermentation under room temperature for more than 24 hours. However, fermentation is normally regarded as the traditional way of manufacture. Why is stinky tofu so delicious? There are many different reasons. Some say it is delicious because it is smelly. It is a taste between good and evil. One may describe it as disgusting, but to the others it is regarded as delicious! Another reason why people like stinky tofu is probably that it is served with pickles and hot chili sauce. My personal experience is great to eat stinky tofu with pickles. It tastes like you are in heaven! Stinky tofu may also be stewed to produce a heavy stinky soup. It is served with plenty of vegetables and rice. It really goes well with rice. You will find you eat more rice than you can imagine with the stinky soup.

Pearl milk tea 珍珠奶茶 (Zhēnzhū nǎichá): Bubble tea is a tea beverage with tapioca balls mixed in. The Taiwanese name for bubble tea translates to "pearl milk tea." When tea is shaken a thin layer of bubbles forms on the surface. Due to this foaming process, any tea that is prepared by being shaken can be called bubble tea. It wasn't until the tea was brought over to non-Asian countries that it was given the name "bubble tea." Since the most notable difference between bubble tea and other tea is the tapioca in the bottom of the drink, it was assumed that the "bubble" in bubble tea referred to the tapioca.
